Yesterday marked the television debut of Aamir Khan with his show "Satyamev Jayate". The entire show, content, its theme was kept under wraps to generate interest and curiosity.
The promos and teasers for the show hinted at a format and concept not yet seen before on the Indian TV and I must say when the show was launched it did not disappoint at all.
The show has set the social networking sites like FB, twitter, G+ ablaze. Everybody seems to be talking about the show and its theme. Aamir will be pleased by the reaction and the comments.
What will keep the momentum going is if the show brings about a positive change in the mindset of the people of the country.
For any change or movement to happen it is very essential to have the people of the nation to associate with the change or the movement. When this happens the movement reaches a critical mass and the powers be that run the country have to bow down to the people power; the wheels of justice and society start to turn and change begins.
It is not an easy journey nor is it without perils.
What Aamir has embarked on with Satyamev Jayate has the power to be a movement provided it galvanizes people into action; provided the people who have generally been apathetic to Social Causes wake up and start the change, not by going out into the streets and shouting slogans, but by instilling that change in mindset within them and seeking to expound on it amongst their friends and relative.
The show has inspired me to create a dedicated page on my blog documenting all the episodes and my personal feelings and reactions. It has inculcated in me to seek a positive change in myself.
Hope it does the same for at least 1 person reading the blog. This will mean that the movement has started and is on its way to being a jaggernaut.

Salot karte hai Amir ji apko, aaj tak jab bhi apki koi film TV per ati hamare bache bolte papa apka Favorite hero ki fil hai , ab to ap ne kamaal kar diya bache bhi apke diwane ho gaye , pahli bar aisa hua ki hare bachon ne kaha PAPA koi serial nahi koi film nahi, sirf Satyamev Jayate dekhana hai , or pahli bar hum sabhi ki aankho mai anshu agye Bus is mission ko ajnam tak phuchana hai hum apke sath hai

DeleteShuruat toh unhone ne kardi lekin ab yeh humara farz banta hain ki hum unke saath jude aur milkar iss kaam toh anjam tak pahuchaye. Tabhi toh na baat banegi.
