Social Media Trolling!!!

People these days find a lot of fun in trolling others using Social Media. The degree of anonymity offered by Social Media and the sheer cacophony of noise generated by the Trolls is fast becoming a nuisance. Trolling is fast becoming the online version of bullying. Just as the world slowly woke up to the fact that bullying is wrong, we need to wake up to this fact as well.

Some may point out that this is just humor or fun. But fun or humor made at the expense of others is never a laughing matter when you are at the receiving end of it. Social Media is impactful, it is instant and has a long reach effects. So all the trollers out there having their two seconds of fame or spotlight at the expense of belittling a fellow human being, please be aware what goes around come around.

The spike in trolling has been in news recently with Virat Kohli putting up a pic on his Instagram shaming those who trolled his ex-gf. Makes sense people, there is a line that needs to be drawn. Involving the family or the near dear ones of the celebs is not just on. The price of success cannot be the loss of privacy, that's just stupid.
