People living in this country are caught between these two idealogues. On one hand you have the country progressing as an economic powerhouse, on the other you have it regressing politically due to the derth of ideas and the lack of strong idealogy in politics.
Importantly even as corporate India is shed it's familial afflications and moves towards bringing in professionals with a greater level of accounting and transparency; Political India seems to be moving in the exact opposite direction, promoting dynasty, populist policies which bankrupt the government, railways and the common man. It seems that currently there are two India's in the same country.
Working in corporate India makes me aware of my potential to achieve, I can see how even a small contribution by every member in an organization helps increase the productivity of the company and hence directly or indirectly the bottomline. It has thought me that organizations are built 1 employee at a time and there is not substitute for hardwork.
Political India on the other hand is on the other side of the spectrum. With people who have not done even a day's of honest work in the life getting elected as people's representative it is indicative of the lethargy and the rigmarole that has affected the country.
What will you choose? A responsible India or a apathatic India. What our neighbors want is clear? But so far what the people of this country want is unclear. Currently we are at a flashpoint as a nation, what we do now will either make us a powerhouse or maybe will break us into individualistic principalities. The choice my dear India is ours.... Choose Wisely.
