The bottom is dropping out of the global economy. Our politico's are going from bad to worse, people are struggling against inflation, everyday seems like a battle, the entire life we are leading seems like a WAR...
What can anybody say when humans are hell bent on their own destruction? That we are searching for another earth like planet in the distant skies with the focus of finding life of them gives me the chills. Supposingly we find the life on this distant planets, what are we gonna do, Goto WAR with them too? Make intergalactic arms & missiles?
In the past 200 years we have done out utmost to bring this planet of the brink of destruction just to prove a point to somebody. Our neighbor exports terror the world over, just becoz they can. We say technology helps us to bridge divides, but it's the same technology that is also causing mistrust and imbalance.
The developed countries, see the new rising countries with as a challenge to their superiority. We indulge in meaningless comparisons and show-offs when we know the universal truth that in the end all will be dust.
I'm no way saying the development should not happen, things should not progress, but there needs to be a certain amount of intelligence associated with it. Above all we need to learn to listen, we need to harness compassion & stop with pseudo-aggressive posturing.
Most importantly we need to be the Human in "Humane"....
